For filament sensor, there are usually a total of 2 or 3 wires. If you have something more or less, you may have something else.
There is usually a 5V, Signal and GND wire if you have a 3 wire version. They may come in Red, Orange, Black or Red, Yellow, Black.
If you have a 2 wire version, they should be only Signal and GDN wires, Yellow and Black or Orange and Black. Please do your due diligence to check on the wires before connecting them to your boards.
For simplicity sake, we will use a 2 wire filament sensor. If you have the 5V wire, just connect it to an active pinout that you know has 5 volts. Most of the time, it is indicated on the pinout diagram of your board. If you need help figuring it out, please try to look for your board's pinout.
We recommend searching for "Your motherboard name + FIL_RUNOUT_PIN" online. That should give you a clue on where to connect your Filament sensors' wires.
