Want a cleaner Ender 5 look with wires that are a little more organized?
Then you'll want to consider repositioning your Ender 5 box to the rear of the printer.
In the rear position, you will still get access to your cables, allow them to be hidden behind the extrusions and in general provide a cleaner look to your machine.
Here are the things that you need in order for this modification.
1) 4 x Printable Mounts
2) 8 X M5x8 Socket Button Bolts
3) 4 x M5 T-Nuts
Step 1) First, you'll want to disconnect all your wires. This allows you to freely move your control box without having any wires getting in the way
Step 2) You will remove a total of 8xM5 bolts. You will find 2 of them on the left, middle and right side of the printer. Remove them and gently nudge your control box out of the way
Step 3) Preparing your printed parts. These parts measure 20mm x 21mm. The ends with 21mm. Pair a M5x8 bolt with a M5 T-Nut on the holes that lie on the 21mm stretch
Step 4) Connect the printed parts to the control box with the remaining M5x8 bolts
Step 5) Mount your control box at the rear of your Ender 5 and ensure your power socket isn't too squashed/compressed. Ensure there's enough space and lock your control box's new position with the help of the 4 T-nuts your paired earlier on
Step 6) Re-organize your wires, reconnect them and turn your machine to check if everything works!
